Planning a Winter destination wedding? Heidi Belle Fritz and Bryon McPherson decided that the Mountain Springs Lodge in Leavenworth, Washington was exactly the place they wanted to do their engagement photo session in the early Spring of 2013 and then their wedding day on January 4th will take place at Sleeping Lady Lodge. The local wedding planner at the lodge even cautioned them, "you do realize it will probably be snowing". That's exactly what Heid and Bryon wanted to hear.
It was great doing their engagement shoot there as we all got to explore the neat features, ponds, bridges, log-built lodges, Aspen groves and scenery that the lodge has on their property while capturing their love for each other.
Their fairytale wedding will include Heidi arriving at the wedding site by horse-drawn sleigh, nuptuals by a pond, and their reception in the main lodge building which has a massive river-rock fireplace. Sounds romantic and cozy doesn't it? Being from the northwest and out of necessity, Bella and I have invested in rain covers for our cameras and we can't wait to see what the weather will have in store for their winter wedding.
